\r\nThis triptych hangs in the atrium of the Education, Training and Development Centre. The three paintings make up this colourful uplifting image of a microscope and urban images of Canary Wharf and Tower Bridge. Gillian has captured the symbolic icons of the medical research for education and the two most recognised buildings in Tower Hamlets. The square sun is one of Gillian’s familiar symbols in her paintings.
\r\nUsing different finishes of acrylic paint to achieve the bright multi faceted effect and matching up the images where the canvases join up together. It was quite a feat, two picture hangers and a very tall scaffolding tower was needed to fix the three paintings to the top of the two storied atrium.

\r\nThe picture hangers had to erect another scaffolding tower to attach the six metre plus paintings to the wall, which look dramatic on the face of the lift wall.
