Double Helix Tryptych, Education Unit Mile End Hospital

This triptych is based on a dynamic colourful image of a double helix formation, with an out of focus red, orange and yellow background to highlight the twisting blue helix. The colours were chosen especially to blend and contrast with the blue background wall.
The picture hangers had to erect another scaffolding tower to attach the six metre plus paintings to the wall, which look dramatic on the face of the lift wall.
