Artist Gillian Burrows will paint a City scene in pen and watercolour before a live audience and will talk about her life as a professional artist. Gillian will also show clips from her DVD "A Picture of East London" which she made with filmmaker Alan Tucker, who will also be present. Gillian and Alan have spent 25 years documenting the changes that have been taking place in East London using painting photography and, more recently film. This promises to be a fascinating evening and booking is advisable.

Gillian's paintings will be on view in the Barbican Library Foyer from
1 – 28 October.
