Thank you for your enquiry for pen & watercolour workshops with Gillian Burrows the
East London artist at her historic Trinity Buoy Wharf studio, East London.

Gillian has a long established career as a professional artist and has run a series of courses and demonstrated for art societies, Hertfordshire Adult Education, Art material manufacturers and Art in Action Oxford. Gillian’s work is commissioned by corporate companies and private clients.

Individual or small groups are taken through the watercolour techniques step by step, which encourage creative idea solving, observation, finding your own unique style of painting and empowerment within the group.

For beginners and those who have a little watercolour painting experience, the course includes easy practical demonstrations of the techniques, a look at different watercolour papers, colour mixing and constructing a painting. Subjects include landscape in different seasons, flowers, buildings & textures.

For intermediate to advanced, exploring local urban landscape, painting from Gillian’s studio.
Looking at pen and watercolour, using different pen techniques and exploring the individual’s
creative style of work.
